Amazon has plenty of other data centers in Ireland, either in operation, or at various stages of construction. A large facility is being built in Blanchardstown, also near Dublin, where the company already has two data centers, and there is another project being constructed at the Clonshaugh business park near Dublin Airport. AWS high availability region comprises two distinct geographic locations, known as Availability Zones, each complying with the United Kingdom’s Cyber Essentials Plus certification scheme. AWS is additionally offering all UK clients guidance on developing applications that align with the National Cyber Security Centre’s UK Cloud Security Principles, and with the National Health Service (NHS) Information Governance Statement of Compliance (IGSoC) protocols.
